An automated DVD ingest station. Insert a disc and it is cloned to an archive image, transcoded to a streaming-friendly file, filed into a Jellyfin library, and ejected, with no keyboard needed.
It grew into a small media appliance: a dedicated player box for the TV, plus a camera station that photographs each disc face for the catalog.
